Culture of Fear: Majority of Highschoolers are worried about Gun Violence––Thats a Problem

Teenagers have plenty of things to worry about:

Am I going to find a date for prom?

Do I really have to do my summer reading?

How do I improve my grades and my SAT scores?

Gun violence should not even make that list.

Unfortunately, a majority of American teens worry about an armed gunman storming their school. They’re scared that someone will take their lives before they’ve even had a chance to begin. Lockdowns, bomb threats, and false alarms add to this culture of fear and lead to a cascade of mental health problems for our kids. Even if an attack doesn’t occur at a student’s school, noticeable spikes in teen anxiety and depression occur anyway.

At Campus Guardian Angel, we offer a non-invasive, nearly invisible solution: human-piloted drones that activate only during emergencies. When an incident occurs, our drones provide active defense, ensuring that students no longer have to think about what classroom item they'll have to fight for their lives with. Our mission is to give students the peace of mind they deserve, so that the only thing they have to focus on at school is school.
